Exotic Leathers

Exotic hides are the hardest material a workshop can be asked to handle. The scale pattern has to be read before a single cut is made, so that the tiles fall symmetrically across the front panel and run true down the sides. Get the placement wrong and no amount of good stitching afterwards will rescue the piece.
This collection gathers every piece we have made in crocodile, alligator, ostrich and other exotic hides, across shapes that run from mini bags to full top-handle proportions. Finishes range from high-shine, where the surface is burnished until the tiles read as glass, through to matte, where the natural texture of the hide carries the whole piece.
These are the slowest bags we make and the least repeatable, because no two hides mark or scale identically. Every one is a single piece. Every one is saddle-stitched by hand and carries our transferable lifetime repair guarantee.
