Crossbody Bags

Crossbody bags take more punishment than any other shape we make. Worn across the body, the strap is loaded along its whole length, the bag swings against the hip with every step, and the hardware at the strap anchors takes a small shock thousands of times a week. It is the shape where cheap construction shows fastest.
These are built for that. The strap anchors are reinforced behind the panel rather than stitched through a single layer, and the strap itself is cut, edged and burnished in the workshop alongside the bag. Most are adjustable, so the bag can be worn high at the waist or dropped to the hip.
Sizes here run small to medium: phone, cardholder and keys at the compact end, up to pieces that take a paperback and a water bottle. All are cut from full-grain leather and saddle-stitched by hand, one maker to one bag.
