Shoulder Bags

A shoulder bag lives against the body, which means the strap and the back panel do most of the work. The strap has to sit without digging, hold its shape under load and take years of the same fold in the same place; the back panel has to be finished as carefully as the front, because it is the part that touches a coat every day.
These are pieces designed to be worn hands-free for hours: single-strap bags in structured and soft constructions, with closures from simple flaps through to turnlocks and zips. Sizes run from slim shapes that hold the essentials to fuller pieces that take a day’s carry.
Each bag is cut from full-grain leather and saddle-stitched by hand, one maker per bag, in fine grains, pebbled grains and exotic hides. Straps are made and finished in the same workshop as the body, not bought in.
