Mini Bags

Small bags are not simply scaled-down large ones. At this size every seam allowance, every turned edge and every piece of hardware takes up a proportion of the whole that it never would on a full-size piece, so the tolerances a maker works to get tighter, not looser.
These are pieces built to carry a phone, a cardholder, a key and little else, and to be worn rather than carried: most take a shoulder or crossbody strap, and many can be worn short on the shoulder or long across the body. Shapes run from flap and turnlock closures through to soft, unstructured pouches.
Every mini bag here is cut from full-grain leather and saddle-stitched by hand, one maker per bag. They come in fine and pebbled grains, in the full colour range, and in exotic hides for the pieces where the scale pattern can be shown to its best on a small panel.
